What you must be able to do
By the end of Lesson 18 you can describe a city and a region, say where places are and how to get there, talk about the advantages and disadvantages of living in the city or the countryside, and — grammatically — use local prepositions correctly (Wechselpräpositionen with Wo? + Dativ / Wohin? + Akkusativ, plus nach, zu, aus, von) and compare things with the comparative and superlative (größer als, am größten, irregular forms) and the double connector je … desto.
